Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the focus of The HorsePlayer Magazine?

A. The HorsePlayer Magazine has been the industry's premier handicapping periodical since 1994. We focus on educating horseplayers on all aspects of the handicapping puzzle - from race analysis to money management. The magazine includes features for varying level of horseplayers - from novices to experts. Helping the horseplayer make a buck each time he or she makes a wager is our primary focus, not breeding/sales/industry news. Learn about key handicapping angles, how to get inside the past performances, what to look for in a horse's physicality and more.

Q. Which tracks does HorsePlayer cover?

A. All of North America's racing venues. Our exclusive Fourplay section provides handicapping tips for four tracks each issue, as well as our more in-depth Winning Angles section for track-specific handicapping. We also feature major, magazine length stories on many of the top meets in the country throughout the year - from coast to coast and different levels of prestige. We provided coverage of more than 50 tracks in recent years alone.
